I booked this party at an indoor playground called Little Heroes Clubhouse. Since this is a 1st birthday, it was good to do it here so there was a wider variety of toys and activities for all ages.
I printed the invitations on dinosaur shapes and cut them out.
I then made eggs that open from card stock for the baby saurus to sit in.

Dinosaur Cake
The dinosaurs are cut out of store-bought fondant, but the blue sky and purple mountains are homemade marshmallow fondant. The green is homemade buttercream frosting.
For the large cupcake "smash cake", I made a hard chocolate shell to put it in.
