There were plenty of flaws that I can pick on myself for - as I'm still getting used to the slight difference of using homemade marshmallow fondant over store bought. This time for some reason I dealt with a lot of bubbles in the fondant that caused me anxiety.
I had the added variable of having to deliver this cake the day before to the mother.
The places where the decorations needed to go - I put wooden skewers down into the cake. I delivered the cake with the decorations on the side and showed her how to simply assemble by placing the straws onto the skewers.
